Well of course. When facing an issue, what could be better than a step sideways ? Why not go stroll in the many aisles of Ikea, think of all the assembly steps of the furniture, how they could be put in a fashionable manner in the house... yes, this makes the imagination go wild. And also, the many kilometers walked in the labyrinth of Ikea, are a good physical training. If I want to become a Super Human, that’s a good choice.
But after a few hours of going through the different universes (The Baby Room, the Bedroom, the Dining Room, the Balcony, the Hall, the Kitchen, the Bathroom, the...) I am still without a plan. So, I decide to ask a customer representative. He listens to my problem very carefully and then says "follow me."
I walk beside him through the alleys and little by little we leave the most popular side of the store, to arrive in a dusty corner behind where they put all the carts to rest.
"Here," he says, "take this."
"Bricks ?" I say, dubious.
"Bričks," he replies confidently. "Carry them with you, and you will quickly become the Super Human. Also it’s on sale, only £199 - do you have the Family card ? And - don’t forget to read the instructions !"
"Okay," I reply, and I buy Bričks.
After walking the dozen kilometres from Ikea to my place and the climbing the nine floors to my apartment, carrying Bričks in my blue bag with my little hands, I crash into my bed, exhausted. I hope it will work...
Fin ?
