So this is a 20 year-old console, therefore documentation is not necessarily easy to find. Here are some working links:
- Archive.org hosts an archive with many PDF, including the official dev doc by SNK
- This is an archive of a sound library (kaputt in 2006)
- devrs.com is still alive (I used to check it out a lot for GBA stuff)
Then, once you have made a test program with the docs, how do you test it? Well there are two possibilities:
- With an emulator. Retroarch may be able to run NGPC games (todo: test that)
- Buy a flash cartridge such as the FlashMasta). I have one!
In reality there is a PVC case around the circuit. The ROMs are loaded by the USB port.
