So yeah... Bought one.

The little monochrome (as in B & W, not grey scale !) screen, with an included backlight, is very nice, even if from time to time we can see tiny horizontal lines when pixels on the left side are black.

Threre are lots of nice games in the device, some of them are good (I like Mystic Balloon !).

The handheld has tools, such as a file manager that contains utilities (allowing to check the battery level).

Things not so good : the battery can’t be replaced easily (although the device is easy to dismantle), the on button (pic) is a bit brittle and you need to use it to reset the console, and there is no possibility to control the sound volume. But other than that... Let’s try doing something with it !
