The pokeball

Pidgey ? Shiny ? Pokeball ? My eyes blink as another fictional universe seemingly merges into mine. The strange words echo in my head, while my eyes only see a brownish pigeon. Where do those words come from ? How come they are now recorded in my memory ?

So, it looks like a Pokemon. Behind the noble goal of capturing wild animals in order to let them battle to death one against another, a less rosy reality exists : the ecological disaster of the Pokeball waste. In order to catch Pokemons you need to throw Pokeballs at them. But, if the throw fails, the Pokeball is lost forever and litters the environment.

So, all right, I’ll capture the Shiny Pidgey. But in an ecologically responsible manner. Yes, I need a Pokeball, but maybe I can find one that can be recycled ? Enticed by my great idea, I go through my local stores to see if I can find one. No luck at the supermarket, no luck either at the animal store. Eventually, I stumble upon a good candidate.in an industrial zone. A Metallic Pokeball, with a round window to allow the animal to see while inside the ball. Perfect ! Only one little pesky detail : how do I throw a 1+ ton metal ball at a pigeon ? And before that, how do I detach it from its concrete support ?

Fin ?

Une autre piste ?

L'histoire n'est pas obligée de s'arrêter là. On pourrait la poursuivre, par exemple, en faisant ce qui suit. (si vous me laissez votre mail, vous serez prévenue lorsque votre idée sera ajoutée)
